Delivering training to Magistrates 27th January 2025

We've started 2025 with a firm commitment to deliver Homicide Timeline training to the judiciary. Our session with magistrates is the first of a series of training events across the year.

On 27th January 2025 we delivered a whistlestop tour of the Homicide Timeline to more than 300 magistrates, facilitated by the Magistrates' Association. Feedback from delegates was extremely positive, including 'This should be compulsory training for everyone who works in the courts and justice system.'

In the coming weeks we will also be delivering training to family court judges in the north west and those involved in the justice system in Northern Ireland.

We are committed to providing Homicide Timeline training across the judiciary as it is an essential tool for understanding escalating risk and threat in intimate partner relationships with controlling patterns. It is essential that all those working in the criminal and family justice systems share a common understanding and approach to risk.
